What is the Inventory Management?
Purpose:
To enable clinics to maintain and manage their inventory items within HelloNote EMR, including setting pricing and tax rates for stocked items.
Scope:
This section covers:
- Adding new inventory items to the clinic's stock
- Setting item prices and applicable tax rates
- Basic inventory creation and management
Procedure:
- Navigate to Settings > Inventory Management
- To add a new item:
- Click Create Inventory Item (top-right corner)
- Enter item details including:
- Item name/description
- Price
- Tax rate
- Save the new inventory item

The inventory management section of the settings is used to add inventory items available for the clinic to use. These items have a price as well as a tax rate set by the clinic. In order to add a new inventory item, click the "Create Inventory Item" button in the top right.
