How do I use the PCP/Referral section?

To enable clinic staff to manage primary care physicians and referral sources within HelloNote EMR, ensuring this information is available throughout the system.

Scope:
This procedure covers:

Adding new primary care physicians (PCPs)

Editing or deleting existing referral sources

System-wide availability of entered PCP/referral information

Procedure:

Navigate to Settings → PCP/Referral tab

To edit/delete existing entries:

Click the action button (⋮ or ⚙) next to the entry

Select "Edit" or "Delete"

To add a new PCP:

Click New (top-right corner)

Enter required information:

Physician name
-
Contact details
-
Other relevant data
-
Click Save
-
Saved entries will automatically appear in dropdown menus (e.g., when assigning to patients)

The same process applies for managing referral sources

Changes are immediately reflected system-wide

The PCP/Referral tab in the settings is used to add and edit primary care physicians and referral sources the clinic uses. Using the action button on the left, the clinic can edit or delete already existing referral sources. To add new PCP, click the "New" button on the top right.
