What is the Insurance and Payer ID?
Purpose:
To manage the clinic's insurance billing information by adding, editing, and maintaining insurance providers and their payer IDs within HelloNote EMR.
Scope:
This section covers:
- Adding new insurance providers for billing purposes
- Modifying or removing existing insurance entries
- Managing payer ID information
Procedure:
- Navigate to Settings → Insurance and Payer ID
- To modify existing entries:
- Click the Actions button next to the insurance provider
- Select "Edit" or "Delete" as needed
- To add new insurance:
- Click New (top-right corner)
- Enter all required insurance information
- Save the new entry

The insurance and payer id tab in the settings is used to add new insurances that the clinic will bill. The actions button next to each insurance on the left side allows you to edit or delete already existing insurances. In order to add new insurance, click the "New" button in the top right.
