How do I set up case rules for insurances ?

Purpose:

To enable administrators to preconfigure insurance-specific case rules in HelloNote EMR, streamlining case creation by automatically applying predefined settings based on the patient's insurance provider.

Scope:

1. Accessing insurance configuration settings
2. Setting up default case rules per insurance provider
3. Configuring:
   1. Case types
   2. Profiles
   3. Places of service 
      Excludes:
4. Adding new insurance providers
5. Editing claim submission rules
6. Patient-specific case exceptions

Procedure:

1. Navigate to Insurance Settings:
   1. Go to Settings > Insurance > Payer ID
2. Select Insurance Provider:
   1. Choose from your existing insurance list
   2. Click Action > Preset Case Rules
3. Configure Default Rules:
   1. Set preferred:
      1. Case types
      2. Profile settings
      3. Place of service
   2. Save configurations
4. Automatic Application:
   1. These rules will now auto-populate when creating cases for patients with this insurance
