How to include comments in the Waitlist?
Purpose:
To enable clinical staff to add contextual notes about patient needs and priorities directly in the waitlist for better care coordination and scheduling decisions.
Scope:
This feature allows:
- Adding free-text comments to waitlist entries
- Documenting patient-specific needs
- Enhancing communication between schedulers
- Maintaining notes about waitlist status
Procedure:
- Navigate to the Waitlist section
- Locate the desired patient entry
- Click the comment box adjacent to the patient's name
- Type your note regarding:
- Urgency level
- Special requirements
- Scheduling preferences
- Other relevant details
- Save the comment

Waitlist includes comments now, so you can make comments based on need of the patient.
Clicking on the comment box will allow users to put in their comments
