How to Find the PayerID# for Submitting Claims?

Purpose:

Usually, the Payer ID can be found on the back of the insurance card. However, if it is not listed, the best option is to reach out to the payer directly to confirm the correct Payer ID.  Insurance companies can have multiple payer IDs. 

Here's other option to check payer ID# in Inovalon

Procedure:

1. Login to Inovalon portal - https://providercloud.inovalon.com/
2. Under Back-end RCM > Claims Management Pro > click Launch Claims Management Pro > Submit
3. Go to Payer List
4. Click Professional > Quick Search > Input the payer Name > Search

NOTE: Please be reminded to take the second numbers as the payer ID#
