  1. Declined(RPCT-500)

     

What It Typically Means
 
  • Temporary outage or instability on Fiserv’s side
  • Timeout while routing the transaction
  • Backend service failure
  • Transaction was malformed or couldn’t be parsed correctly by Fiserv
Importantly:
 :x: It does not mean insufficient funds
 :x: It does not mean invalid card
 :x: It does not mean cardholder declined
 
2. No matching auth for reversal (PPS - 25)
 
This means the system couldn’t find the original transaction to reverse. This usually means the original payment was not approved or has already been completed.
