Fiserv / CardPointe Payment Terminal Devices – Overview

This article provides an overview of Fiserv (CardPointe) payment terminal devices that are compatible with our system. Many clients ask about supported hardware but may not have direct access to their Fiserv account—this guide consolidates that information in one place.

All devices listed below are CardPointe-compatible and support secure, PCI-compliant payment processing.

Purchasing Fiserv / CardPointe Payment Terminals

Important:
Fiserv (CardPointe) payment terminals cannot be purchased outside of the Fiserv portal. Devices are tied to a client’s merchant account for security, compliance, and provisioning reasons. As a result, ordering requires an active Fiserv login.

If a client cannot log in, they must first resolve access with Fiserv before hardware can be ordered.

How to Purchase a Payment Terminal from Fiserv

Step 1: Log in to the Fiserv (CardPointe) Portal

• Go to the Fiserv CardPointe login page

• Enter your Fiserv username and password

If login access is missing or not working, the client must contact Fiserv Support to reset credentials or request access.

Step 2: Open the Marketplace

• From the top navigation menu, click Marketplace

• Select CardPointe Hardware

This section lists all supported and approved CardPointe devices tied to your merchant account.

Step 3: Select a Device

• Review available terminals (e.g., Clover, Ingenico, ID TECH)

• Click Order Device under the desired hardware

Only devices compatible with your merchant setup will appear.

Step 4: Complete the Order

• Confirm:

  • Quantity

  • Shipping address

  • Billing details (handled directly by Fiserv)

• Submit the order

Fiserv processes payment and fulfillment directly.
