How do I add basic patient information ?

Allow patients from "All Locations"
Purpose:
To provide users with a standardized process for creating new patient records in HelloNote EMR, ensuring essential demographic information is captured while maintaining flexibility for additional optional details.
Scope:
This article covers:
- Creating new patient records
- Required vs. optional fields
- Basic patient information entry
Excludes: - Editing existing patient records (except for brief note)
- Insurance/billing information
- Clinical documentation
Procedure:
- Access Patient Creation:
- Open Menu (upper-right)
- Select Patient Tab
- Click New Patient
- Enter Information:
- Required Fields:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Date of Birth
- Optional Fields:
- All other demographic fields
- Required Fields:
- Save Record:
- Click Save to complete
Editing Existing Patients:
- Use Edit button (upper-right of patient info)

In order to add a new patient, follow these steps:
Step 1: Toggle the HelloNote menu on the upper right side of the dashboard.
Step 2: Click the Patient Tab.
Step 3: Click the New Patient button next to the "Patient List"
Step 4: Enter necessary and optional information.
Necessary Information includes first name, last name, and DOB. Note: All other information is
optional.
Step 5: Click save to save the new patient.
Note: To make any other changes to an already created patient file, click the edit button in the upper right corner of the patient information tab.
