How do I add calendar visits through patient tab?
Purpose:
To provide clinicians with a step-by-step guide for scheduling and modifying patient visits directly from the patient record in HelloNote EMR, ensuring accurate appointment management and billing reconciliation.
Scope:

- Adding new visits via the Patient Tab
- Modifying existing appointments
- Payment application and balance adjustments
Excludes: - Bulk scheduling
- Recurring visit setup

Procedure:
Adding Visits:
- Navigate to Patient Tab > Visits and Receipts
- Click Add (upper right)
- Select:
- Case
- Provider
- Date
- (Optional) Additional details
Modifying Existing Visits:
- Locate appointment in Visits list
- Click Actions
- Select:
- Apply Payment
- Auto Balance (options: zero out, patient responsibility, custom adjustment)

Step 1: Click on the Visits and Receipts section of the Patient tab.
Step 2: Click "Add" in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Select Case, Provider, and Date or the appointment. If needed, fill out the option fields as well.
Note: In order to make any changes to existing visits, see instructions below.
Changes to existing appointments:
Step 1: Click "Actions" next to the appointment you are trying to change.
Step 2: Through actions, you can apply payment and auto balance the existing appointment.
Note: Auto-balancing an appointment allows you to zero it out, adjust to patient responsibility, or make custom balancing changes.
