Options within Patient Tab
Purpose:
To provide a comprehensive reference guide for all functional buttons within the Patient Tab in HelloNote EMR, enabling clinicians to efficiently utilize patient management tools for documentation, communication, and care coordination.
Scope:
This article covers the eight primary functions accessible via the Patient Tab button panel:

Procedure:
Button Functions (Left to Right):
- Dictation Service:
- Click to activate phone-based note dictation
- Consent/Intake Forms:
- Send digital forms to patients
- HEP Export:
- Transfer patient to home exercise portal
- Request Referral:
- Generate physician referral requests
- Send Review Link:
- Email patient satisfaction survey
- Enroll to Portal:
- Register patient using unique email
- Print Facesheet:
- Generate patient summary sheet
- Create Event:
- Log cancellations or visit updates

Dictation Service: To use the Dictation Service, click the button on the very left. The dictation service allows therapists to call a number and dictate what they would like written in their notes. Our team then aids the therapist by writing the note based on the dictation.
Consent/Intake Forms: The second button from the left is used to send patients consent and intake forms.
HEP: The third button is used to export the patient to the Home Exercise Program portal.
Request Referral: The fourth button is used to request a referral from the patient's referring physician.
Send Review Link: The fifth button is used to send a review link to the patient, so the patient is able to leave a review for the clinic based on provided services.
Enroll to Patient Portal: The sixth button is used to enroll a patient into the patient portal. Note: Patient portals are created using emails. The clinic can use one email per patient.
Print Facesheet: The seventh button is used to print the patient's facesheet.
Create Event: The 8th button is used to the create an event in the patient's file. Events can be used to record any updates regarding visits with the patient, as well as reasons for cancellation of visits.
Note: When hovering over the aforementioned options, you can view the name of the feature by putting the cursor over the button.
