How to Use the Patient Information Page?
Purpose:
To provide clinicians with a comprehensive guide to navigating and updating the Patient Information Page in HelloNote EMR, ensuring accurate record-keeping and effective patient alerts for improved care coordination.
Scope:
This article covers:
- Accessing and editing core patient demographics
- Managing:
- Emergency contacts
- Guardian information
- Referral details
- Utilizing:
- Patient event tracking
- Alert banner system
Excludes:
- Clinical documentation features
- Billing/insurance configuration
- Portal-related settings
Procedure:
1. Access Patient Information:
- Select patient (name highlighted in blue)
- Default view shows Information tab
2. Edit Demographics:
- Click Edit (far right)
- Update fields in pop-up window:
- Basic patient details
- Emergency contacts
- Guardian information
- Referral sources
3. Set Patient Alerts:
- Scroll to Patient Alert section
- Type alert message (e.g., "Hard of hearing")
- Click Save → Yellow banner displays on all chart access
4. Schedule Events:
- Add future reminders (e.g., "MD appt 6/15")
- Events appear in patient's timeline
