How to Enter a Credit Card Payment?
Purpose:
To guide users through processing credit card payments for both standard visits and copays using HelloNote's integrated payment system, ensuring secure and accurate financial transactions.
Scope:
This article covers:
- Processing payments for predefined visit types
- Handling ad-hoc payments (e.g., copays)
- Viewing transaction confirmations
Excludes: - Payment plan setups
- Refund processing
- Manual credit card entry (non-integrated)
Procedure:
For Predefined Visit Types:
- Navigate to Payments Tab
- Click Actions on visit line
- Verify auto-populated amount
- Enter card details → Submit
For Ad-Hoc Payments (e.g., Copays):
- Add New Visit Type
- Select "Copay" → Enter amount
- Click Pay (top-right)
- Click Credit Card Icon → Submit
Confirmation:
- View Reference Number
- Check Transaction Status
