How to Enter a Credit Card Payment?

Purpose:

To guide users through processing credit card payments for both standard visits and copays using HelloNote's integrated payment system, ensuring secure and accurate financial transactions.

Scope:

This article covers:

1. Processing payments for predefined visit types
2. Handling ad-hoc payments (e.g., copays)
3. Viewing transaction confirmations 
   Excludes:
4. Payment plan setups
5. Refund processing
6. Manual credit card entry (non-integrated)

Procedure:

For Predefined Visit Types:

1. Navigate to Payments Tab
2. Click Actions on visit line
3. Verify auto-populated amount
4. Enter card details → Submit

For Ad-Hoc Payments (e.g., Copays):

1. Add New Visit Type
2. Select "Copay" → Enter amount
3. Click Pay (top-right)
4. Click Credit Card Icon → Submit

Confirmation:

• View Reference Number
• Check Transaction Status
