I need to attach a document with my claim. How to add paperwork to a claim?
Purpose:
To attach supporting documents (e.g., evaluations, source files) to a claim for submission to the payer.
Scope:
This procedure covers uploading files as attachments to an existing claim within the billing module.
Procedure:
- Open the claim and navigate to the Related tab on the right side.
- Scroll to the Attachments section.
- Click Upload Attachment at the bottom of the section.
- In the upload window:
- (Optional) Enter a Name and Description.
- Click Add files or drag files into the upload area.
- Click Start Upload.
- Click Done once complete.
- Return to the claim, Save, Validate, and send the claim.
Additional Notes:
- Maximum file size: 100 MB.
- Uploaded files will appear in the Attachments list with timestamps.
- You can manage transmission/print settings for each file after upload.
