How do I login with Open ID connect ?

Purpose:

To guide users through the Open ID Connect authentication process for HelloNote EMR, including initial login with temporary credentials and mandatory password reset for security compliance.

Scope:

This article covers:

1. First-time login using temporary Open ID Connect credentials
2. Mandatory password reset workflow
3. Final authentication using the standard login button 
   Excludes:
4. Troubleshooting failed login attempts
5. Open ID Connect configuration for administrators
6. Multi-factor authentication setup

Procedure:

1. Initial Login:
   1. Click the Open ID Connect button
   2. Enter the temporary username and password provided to you
2. First Logout:
   1. After successful login, immediately log out
3. Password Reset:
   1. Repeat the Open ID Connect login process
   2. When prompted, create and confirm your new secure password
4. Final Authentication:
   1. Log out once more
   2. Return to the main login screen
   3. Use the standard Login button with your new credentials

First, Click on Open ID Connect

And then log in using the username and password sent to you

When logged in, log out

and do the process again (Open ID Connect and login)

You'll then be asked to create your new password

Once done and logged in, please log out once more but this time log back in using the Log in button.
