How to check Notes that is not available in Claims - Ready to Send?
Purpose:
To identify and resolve why certain notes are not appearing in the Ready to Send claims queue due to cosign requirements.
Scope:
This procedure covers:
- Verification of cosign settings impacting claim submission
- Cases requiring cosignature before billing
- Updating case settings to enable claims processing
Procedure:
- Identify missing notes in the Ready to Send queue
- For each affected case:
a. Click Actions > Update Case
b. Check the Require Cosign option status
c. If checked, either:- Obtain required cosignature, OR
- Uncheck to remove cosign requirement (if permitted)
- Saved notes will now appear in Ready to Send if all other requirements are met
Important Note:
Unchecking the cosign requirement should only be done in accordance with your clinic's documentation policies.
-To verify this;
NOTES CREATED UNDER A CASE WITH COSIGN TURNED ON NEEDS TO BE COSIGN IN ORDER FOR THOSE NOTES TO APPEAR IN THE READY TO SEND TAB.
Simply click on Actions > Update Case From here make sure that the Require Cosign option is not checked.
