How to Customize the amount in Send Payment Link?
Purpose:
To enable users to send personalized payment requests to patients by specifying custom amounts, rather than automatically using the full balance due.
Scope:
This article covers:
- Accessing the payment link feature
- Custom amount entry functionality
Excludes: - Automatic full-balance payment links
- Payment plan setups
- Recurring payment scheduling
Procedure:
- Navigate to Balance Due:
- Go to Visits and Receipts
- Locate line item with balance
- Generate Custom Link:
- Click Actions → Send Payment Link
- Enter Custom Amount
- Send to patient

Send Payment Link now allows you to customize the amount you're sending the patient to pay.
Under Visits and Receipts > Click on Actions on the line with a Balance Due > click on Send Payment Link
This option will now allow users to put in a Custom balance
