How to resubmit/restore deleted claims in Inovalon?
Purpose:
To guide users on how to resubmit/restore deleted claims in Inovalon
Procedure:
STEP 1: Restore the Claim
- Go to the Deleted tab.
- Under Profiler, check the Deleted box.
- Click Apply — this will display all deleted claims.
- Select the claim that you need to undelete and resubmit.
- Click More Options.
- Select Undelete
STEP 2: Modify and Resubmit as a Corrected Claim
- Under Claims Professional > Open the original claim.
- Modify the necessary error(s).
- Add the ICN number, if required by the payer.
- Click the blue arrow next to Media.
- Under Frequency Code, change the last digit to 7 (this indicates a corrected claim).
- Click Done.
- Click Save and Validate.
