How to resubmit/restore deleted claims in Inovalon?

Purpose: 
To guide users on how to resubmit/restore deleted claims in Inovalon

Procedure:

STEP 1: Restore the Claim

1. Go to the Deleted tab.
2. Under Profiler, check the Deleted box.
3. Click Apply — this will display all deleted claims.
4. Select the claim that you need to undelete and resubmit.
5. Click More Options.
6. Select Undelete

STEP 2: Modify and Resubmit as a Corrected Claim

1. Under Claims Professional > Open the original claim.
2. Modify the necessary error(s).
3. Add the ICN number, if required by the payer.
4. Click the blue arrow next to Media.
5. Under Frequency Code, change the last digit to 7 (this indicates a corrected claim).
6. Click Done.
7. Click Save and Validate.
