How to fix a rejected claim in Inovalon?

Purpose:
To guide users on how to fix a rejected claim in Inovalon

Step 1: Open the Claim

• Click the paper icon to open the rejected claim.

Step 2: Update Place of Service (POS)

• Next to Media
  • Click the double blue arrows
  • Under Claim information Tab
  • POS Add 7 to mark as corrected claim
  • Use 8 if the claim needs to be voided

Step 3: Add a Note (if needed)

• At the bottom Go to Notes section
• Click Add Note
• Add a short note explaining the correction

Step 4: Save & Review

• Click Save & Validate
• Check for any errors
• Submit the corrected claim
