How to fix a rejected claim in Inovalon?
Purpose:
To guide users on how to fix a rejected claim in Inovalon
Step 1: Open the Claim
- Click the paper icon to open the rejected claim.
Step 2: Update Place of Service (POS)
- Next to Media
- Click the double blue arrows
- Under Claim information Tab
- POS Add 7 to mark as corrected claim
- Use 8 if the claim needs to be voided
Step 3: Add a Note (if needed)
- At the bottom Go to Notes section
- Click Add Note
- Add a short note explaining the correction
Step 4: Save & Review
- Click Save & Validate
- Check for any errors
- Submit the corrected claim
